Python Job: Information Security Engineer

Information Security Engineer - Porto - Hybrid

You will work in a Tech centre that boasts over 16 different nationalities. The centre in Porto, Portugal has around 350 employees from several business areas, from IT, to Finance, to HR. The IT team represents 75% of it, so as you can see this is a major tech company.

What you will be doing:

• Perform security reviews and penetration tests as required
• Recommend and implement changes to enhance systems security and prevent unauthorized access
• Automate tasks on managing and configuring security-related services
• Follow up on reported vulnerabilities and suggested mitigation strategies

What we are looking for:

• Degree in Computer Science or in an Information Security field
• 4 or more years of experience with Information Security
• Working knowledge of Penetration Testing principles, techniques, and technologies and of automated security assessments
• Knowledgeable of Scripting languages like Python, Ruby, PHP, Go, etc.
• Experience with defining and enforcing security best practices
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

Nice to have:

• Certifications on Information Security (OSCP, CEH, or similar)
• Experienced with Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience in Identity Management projects or Cloud Access Security Brokers
